Freudenstadt Hauptbahnhof has a train service from Stuttgart (destination Singen) changing at Eutingen. It runs every two (even) hours at 18 past the hour, and takes a hour and twenty minutes. NB: last possible train is 20.18, though there are later bus connections from Horb. It also offers connections from Tübingen, change at Horb or Herrenberg, and from Stuttgart Flughafen, change at Rohr and Herrenberg (taking roughly the same time). 'Downhill' services to Stuttgart also run at even hours at 23 past. If we have notice, all trains can be met.
Freudenstadt Stadtbahnhof has a 'supertram' service from Karlsruhe and Rastatt, which can give connections either from the main London-Köln-Basel line (trains every 45 minutes, taking about one hour twenty minutes from Rastatt) or from the proposed Ryanair terminal at Baden-Baden.
www.bahn.de will give full details, including bus connections at the two Freudenstadt stations. Some buses (7161 Stadt/Busbahnhof to Schiltach) can drop you a couple of hundred yards away at the Zollernblick bus-stop. The stations are presently connected by a shuttle diesel, but the Freudenstadt Stadt-Hauptbahnhof-Eutingen line ought to be electrified by 2005 with a much-improved service.
You can also get information about how to get there directly from the Waldhotel Zollernblick.
